OCT/21 2009 windows 7 launch client: microsoft germany The launch of Windows 7 took place in over 1000 different places all over Germany, where partners and resellers organized private launch parties. The official launch event took place in Hamburg and was entirely dedicated to the users, who were also the ones to tell the Windows 7 story on that event. Protagonists such as the "Windows 7 family", students, gamers or the "Myself Women" attended the event to talk about their experiences with Windows 7 and why it is so much easier to handle and makes everyday tasks so much more efficient. For this event stereolize created different animations that were shown on the many displays throughout the entire event area. An animated opening sequence triggered awareness that Windows 7 is now here, before it was officially introduced by Ricarda Rodatus from Microsoft.
