JAN/28 2010 FITUR 2010 - tourism trade fair client: pictures that move, spain At FITUR, one of the largest international tourism exhibitions, the city of Madrid chose to realize one of the highlights of their extensive exhibition stand with a state-of-the-art interactive application. For several years the city of Madrid has put the installations for their booth at FITUR in the hands of the Spanish agency Pictures that move. For them, we created a whole room, the Sala Simulacion, which was built for a 270° projection and was made interactive by the radarTOUCH. The visitors were asked to stand at a central point of the room and could navigate through a variety of topics concerning the city of Madrid, such as art, architecture, culture, sport, and night life. Each topic had its individual choice of color and design. The size of the screens, the colorful 3D-design and the intuitive navigation gave the impression of standing in the center of a 3D world.
